Review: Lulu's Time Bomb Eye make-up remover.

So a nice lady from a PR company sent me some stuff to try out and this was one of them (one of many in fact). Luckily one of the things she gave me was an eye make-up remover (I had ran out of my own) So I might as well take the opportunity to review it.

So as you can see, it comes in a pretty bottle (well it looks pretty to me). The liquid has two layers as you can see, the darker pink layer I think is the oils. Anyway every time you use it you have to shake the bottle until the layers can no longer be distinguished and obviously so its mixed well.

So here are some before and after pics to show how well it removed my eye make-up:

Before

After

So as you can see this stuff can take of make-up really well. It felt like the "grime" just melted off my face. So its good if you are a lazy MF and you want to get your make-up off really quickly and collapse on your bed. I have to say that my face became quite oily, but i think this product is for the "older" lady as you know the secret to not ageing is not having dry/ultra hydrated skin. But overall this stuff is tres good.

It is pretty expensive (for me- but I am cheap ass) last time I checked it costs about £17 , so if you are a student...obviously you will not be able to even think about paying for it. People with very well paying jobs are so damn lucky GRR.

If you want more info click here

I shall review some more later

Garnier Spot Roll On

Ahoy people, I am such a lazy blogger, and the laptop has been driving me nuts. Anyways I have to review something that has been bugging me - because it works so damn well.
This blog entry will be short and sweet, because I cannot stand being on this stupid PC for a long time.

Garnier spot roll on is ingenious (well to me). One day I was out with a couple of friends, all of a sudden a disgusting zit came up ( however it was small according to a friend I never listen to heheheh). So then I forced my friends into superdrug because this stupid spot was bugging me. I found it because it was unbelivably cheap - I AM A WELL KNOWN BARGAIN HUNTER MUAHAHAH, so it was about £3 and I was lucky enough to find the last one.
So anyway I used it and within TWO HOURS - YES TWO HOURS (I was sad enough to notice the time frame cos I get kept poking at the spot) the spot dissapeared.

If anyone is silly enough to not know how to use this stuff all you have to do is roll this stuff onto the spot and wait for it to dry. According to Garnier it dries really quickly which is a whole heap of bull cos I had to rub this stuff in to my skin. I can't complain cos it did get rid of my awful zit.

So yeah thats my review for the day (or year - depending if i ever get money again lol), it is a great product so use it. I don't know if I should recommend this to people with sensitive skin, I doubt you guys should use it cos it DOES contain SALICYLIC ACID (my best friend *grin*)

Oh and BTW if you do use it, make sure you cover it with a SPF cream cos it makes your skin ultra senstitive to the sun, and also this product is NOT normally £3 its £9. I was a lucky shizzle to get it for cheap tehehehe

Laters peeps (eww..I said peeps)

Indonesia-jin des ka?

Sorry for the bad makeup pictures, I was in a hurry to go and I forgot that my left eyelid was acting up. XD It's not too much really. Just some smokey aubergine cream eyeshadow mixed in with a little black eyeliner and some nuder (almost orangey) lip liner used as a lipstick.

Anyway, it's been a hectic few weeks, moving to Japan and whatnot, making new friends and settling into my dorm. To be honest, it's been pretty awesome though because I am LOVING it here. The only thing that bugs me is that I no longer know how to take good outfit photos. Oh wells.

False lashes tutorial

Its been a long time since ive posted, i'm sucha a lazy biatch ive got bare stuff to update grrr. So anyways I am kinda into false lashes now and a lot of my friends well either hate them cos they look odd or they just cannot put em on. So i have made a mini tutorial it kinda cruddy cos its hard to take pics and put theses lashes on. So if i am not lazy i will edit this post.

Anyways you will need:

  • Lashes
  • Tweezers
  • Cuticle hoof stick
  • Lash adhesive
  • Liquid eye-liner (or pencil if there is an emergency)

Start with clean eyelids this is important as you do not want the lashes to adhere to any dirt or oil that is on you lids this will cause them not stay on for very long.

Use liquid eyeliner and line your top lids as close to you lash line as possible, it doesn't have to be neat as your falsies will be placed on the line. Make sure the line is not too thick as the liner is used as a guideline for you to know where to place your lashes. You can use pencil liner but as it smudges easily it might not make your life harder. I would only suggest experienced girlies to do it.

Ok so now take you lashes and apply glue to the strips, paying careful attention not to get glue on the lashes, make sure you put more glue on edges as lashes tend to come off easily from the edges.

You need to wait for the glue to become tacky so whilst your waiting bend your lashes in a circular motion so they are moulded into a more rounded shape (hope this makes sense) this will make the application easier as lashes are packaged in a straight shape and eyes are obviously round so we have to make the lashes round too =]

So take tweezers and hold you lashes with them as its really hard to use your fingers to place you lashes on you lids (unless you have stick fingers =D) O and place the tweezers in the middle of the lashes like in the pic.

Place the lashes on line that you made along the your lash line, as the tweezers are in the middle of the lashes make sure when you place the are in the middle of the eyelid.

I just realised that I do not have a pic dammit but use the cuticle hoof stick and push the lashes as close to your own lash line as possible, this gives it a more natural look.
Add more liner at the top of the lash strip if it looks slightly obvious.

Then you are done, now you should have beautiful new flutterflies on your eyes. Blink and get any guy you want XD

FlowerPower

One of my favourite birthday buys. It looks like an artist's smock gone right. This dress really made me want to twirl around and jump like a girl in the countryside. Which I did for a bit but...you know...without the actual countryside. I'm still in love with these terrorist boots (dubbed because they beeped at the airport) because they're really comfortable and they're just really pretty in general.

I'm wearing this to my cousin's birthday party whose dress code is "bright colours". This is probably as bright as I go. Hardy Har.

Outfit:
  • Forever 21 floral mini dress
  • Rubi boots
