Oh...my...HELLO lover...

Shoe lust...its uncontrollable I tell you. Found these gorgeous shoes on www.asos.com and I want them all. I'm particularly intrigued by the see through mesh one, kinda pretty and kinda punky all at the same time, I'd probably wear it both in the summer and the winter. I'll probably get a couple of these made by this guy my friend knows. We shall see....

Second trip to cloud nine

I guess technically this is the one time that this gorgeous lighting fails me, when it has to photograph white clothes. I'm wearing my white ruffle mini dress but it's buttoned so that the fourth button is hooked up to the first...and so the buttons are all set up assymetrically. Kinda gorgeous, I love being experimental and I love how versatile it is.

Outfit:
  • Caravel white ruffle mini dress
  • Unlabelled black skinny jeans
  • Unlabelled blue espadrilles (wedges)

Floaty Vampy Stuff

Had maths revision at school again today, and once again I decided to step up my game but keep it casual cool at the same time...or as casual as I can make it. I also had dinner with some old school friends and I wore this:

I was gonna wear it with my new parka (alongside my new skirt...*SQUEE*)but I decided not to even though I felt ever so slightly french chic in it.

I woke up in these clothes

Not really. I'm going to school for some math revision classes and even though I'll be stuck in school all day, I thought that it wouldn't hurt to dress up/

This flower means business

Going out with some friends who I dub the "Pineapples" because we're brown on the outside but blonde on the inside. Not that I'm into blonde stereotypes, but I like the comparison with fruit. I'm a major fruit lover, I am.

Outfit:
  • Vintage black short-sleeved blazer with lace collar
  • Unlabelled floral blue and white summer dress
  • George tank top
  • White socks
  • Black and white combat boots

Four seasons of shredded madness

I wanted to take advantage of the gorgeous light that I have in my room that only comes out for about one or two hours before it turns to crappy light again and I've also been meaning to try to figure out how the hell I'm going to wear my DIY shredded/skinnied jeans and so this was the result...aka picture heavy-ness.

Being away from London for so long (it's almos been two years!) I was starting to miss having four seasons (though at the time I hated it. You couldn't wear some of your clothes all year long!) and the monochromatic heat of Indonesia was really starting to get to me.

This was also done because I just realised that my beautiful jackets/coats have been wasting away in my wardrobe like sad little lost children.

Must take pity.

Autumn

Outfit:
  • Unlabelled brown dress
  • Next jeans (DIY-ed so it's shredded and skinny)
  • Black and white combat boots
  • Principles military jacket
  • Vintage black and gold chain belt

Winter

Outfit:
  • Zara TRF faux pelt jacket (turned inside out)
  • Unlabelled brown dress
  • Next jeans (DIY-ed so it's shredded and skinny)
  • Unlabelled faux leather black belt
  • WIMO nude patent wedges
  • Black and white combat boots

Personally I like the winter one best because I felt like a Russian princess with the jacket on. I can imagine wearing it in the winter except I'd probably have to go with the combat boots since snow doesn't really agree with wedges. However, I'll probably wear the spring one if I'm going out to dinner for my mother's birthday since she's still undecided whether or not we're going.

Below are the coats/jackets that I found, and are partly responsible for me wanting to try out four different looks.

Principles military jacket

I lost a button on this jacket, probably why I don't wear it anymore (apart from the hot weather).

She leaves me in a cold, cold sweat.

Today's look was a bit all over the place because I was going shopping today in the last days of the sale season and I was (a) a bit lazy and (b) knew that I was going to be trying on a lot and so I opted to wear something tres simple and comfortable.

Photographed, it doesn't translate that well but I'm pretty sure I looked half decent when rummaging around the clothes bins like a crazy person.

Outfit:
  • Handmade batik top
  • Unlabelled black skinny jeans
  • The Fly chrome flats
  • Pearls
  • Kookai tartan bag

In the end I only got two things but they were pretty wicked, I reckon. One of them was a vintage top with a lace collar and the prettiest gem buttons and the other was a pair of nude patent wedges with bobbles in the front. I am in love. Oh so so so badly in love. I can't wait to pair both with a pretty summer dress of some sort.

Also, since apparently all women have to have a nude shoe, I am now officially a woman.

Teehee.

I then ventured to Zara...which was a HUGE mistake because every single pair of heel there were awesomely high with a chunky heel and complicated drool-inducing straps and every single one of them were WAY out of my price range. The cheapest being Rp. 500,000.

Man, I hate being price conscious sometimes.
